About Amber
Thank you for visiting my page! I invite you to take a moment to get to know me better. Your support means a lot to me, and I look forward to sharing my journey with you.

As a proud 2007 graduate of Newton-Conover High, I was the first in my father's family to earn a high school diploma. My journey continued at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I graduated in 2012 with a double major in Mathematics and Political Science. I then pursued my passion for law at North Carolina Central University School of Law, graduating in 2015. After passing the bar, I embarked on my career practicing law, dedicated to serving Burke, Caldwell and Catawba Counties. My extensive experience in District Court has equipped me with the skills and knowledge needed to serve effectively as your next District Court Judge.
2015-2018 Associate Attorney
I began my career at Robert A. Mullinax, PLLC, where I had the privilege of learning from two highly experienced lawyers. During my time there, I volunteered on the District Criminal Court appointed list for criminal matters and gained valuable experience in various areas, including traffic matters, estate planning, estate administration, real estate closings, deed preparation, simple divorce and separation agreements, as well as domestic violence protective orders. Additionally, I assisted an attorney outside the firm with adoption case preparations.
Professionally
2018-2022 Prosecutor
It quickly became clear to me that my passion was in the courtroom, leading me to become Assistant District Attorney. Throughout my tenure, I gained invaluable trial experience while managing criminal District Court. I also handled Juvenile Court, misdemeanor appeals, treatment courts, and traffic court. As the District Court Supervisor, I had the privilege of training new Assistant District Attorneys, sharing my knowledge and expertise with the next generation.
2022-Current Managing Partner/Owner
After my time at the District Attorney's Office, I established my own firm, Amber M. Eades, PLLC, to provide dedicated legal representation in criminal, traffic, juvenile, and treatment court cases. In 2025, I proudly partnered with Ally Mashburn to start The Law Office of Crouch and Mashburn to enhance our commitment to serving the community. I'm especially passionate about initiatives like the Veterans Treatment Court, where I assist veterans in navigating the criminal justice system with vital resources and support.
Personally
Outside the courtroom is where I embrace my role as wife and mother. My husband, who is also life long Catawba County resident, is a commercial pilot. Together, we have two young boys who are full of life and a list of animals that seems to keep growing. As a family, we cherish movie nights, adventurous hikes, and spontaneous dance parties in the kitchen. My husband and I enjoy sports, cooking, hosting loved ones, and celebrating our faith together as members of St. James Lutheran Church. My husband is a Vice Chair for the Catawba County GOP and I am the Vice Chair of the Young Republicans of Burke and Catawba Counties. Anyone that knows me, knows I love everything Christmas from decorating to watching the same movies year after year. I also love spoiling my nieces and nephews!
My parents are also lifelong residents of Catawba County. My father, a proud Marine Corps Veteran, bravely served our country during the Vietnam War and later transitioned to a fulfilling career as a mechanic and factory worker. My mother, a retired legal assistant with nearly 45 years of experience with the same attorney, is famous for her delicious No Bake Cookies, bringing sweetness to our family gatherings.

After a lot of prayer and discussions with my family, I am excited to announce my candidacy for District Court Judge for Burke, Caldwell, and Catawba Counties. My number one concern, as a lifelong resident of this area, is to make sure my children grow up in a safe community like I did. I aspire to be a judge who embodies fairness, kindness, and the strength needed to uphold the law.
